US independent Hess is preparing to approach the market to seek contractors to provide engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning services for the second phase of the North Malay Basin Full Field Development (NMB FFD) project off Peninsular Malaysia.
Industry sources said that the EPCIC tender for the phase two job could be launched in March or April, pending discussions between Hess and its production sharing partner Petronas Carigali.
