The option of exploiting Thalin on Block AD-7 as a tie-back to Posco Daewoo’s producing Shwe gas field also remains on the table, according to Woodside, which will soon starting appraisal drilling on Thalin.
Woodside said in its annual report published this week that gas sales from Thalin would be aimed at both the domestic market and nearby growing markets in Asia.
