Cairn Energy is leaning towards front-end engineering and design contests as the preferred route to define the best development plan for its deep-water SNE oil discovery off Senegal.
It is not known when these design contests will begin, but it is clear that these studies will focus on the preferred SNE development concept — a leased floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
