Singapore's Ezra Holdings has had another challenging week and its latest woes include associate Emas Chiyoda Offshore (ECS) being hit with a $3.3 million claim from VT Halter Marine (VTH).
The claim, in the US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, relates to a breach of a loan agreement by ECS US and Ezra’s related guarantee.
Ezra, which has a 40% interest in ECS, recieved the summons on 6 March, a week after VTH filed the lawsuit.
