Houston-based NCS manufactures sliding sleeves and other equipment that help pressure pumping companies locate and isolate fracture stages over the length of a horizontal well.
The company, which was founded in 2006, also provides geoscience and engineering services to assist in the process.
NCS posted a net loss of $17.9 million in 2016, on revenue of $98.5 million, compared with net income of $28 million in revenue of $114 million in 2015.
