Workers at BP’s Whiting refinery in Indiana were given a nasty surprise recently when they found two dead monkeys in a crate of valves.
The
grisly
discovery
was
made
a
year
after
the
crate
had
arrived
in
a
shipping
container
in
Louisiana,
where
it
sat
until
being
dispatched
recently
to
the
refinery
outside
Chicago.
A
BP
spokesperson
said
the
discovery
was
reported
to
authorities,
including
the
Centre
for
Disease
Control,
whose
guidance
the
company
was
following
in
disposing
of
the
remains.
