Canucks cash in

It may not be glamorous, it may not be clean, but working in Canada’s oil patch could earn you a spot among the country’s wealthiest people.

Based on a recent study out of the University of British Columbia, people working in the oil and gas industry are five times more likely to belong to Canada’s richest 1%.

Those individuals take up 4.6% of the jobs in the resource sector.
