people
working
in
the
oil
and
gas
industry
are
five
times
more
likely
to
belong
to
Canada’s
richest
1%.
Those
individuals
take
up
4.6%
of
the
jobs
in
the
resource
sector.
Not
surprising
considering
oil
patch
jobs
net
the
biggest
incomes,
particularly
for
those
individuals
working
in
the
oil
sands
industry
in
northern
Alberta.
