New
Guinea’s
producing
fields,
is
leading
the
exploration
programme
on
behalf
of
various
joint
venture
partners.
Oil
Search
hired
the
Stena
Clyde
for
a
four-well
campaign
comprising
two
firm
and
two
optional
wells
beginning
in
early
2013.
Its
ambition
is
to
find
a
material
gas
resource
that
can
support
a
standalone
liquefied
natural
gas
project
or,
at
the
very
least,
provide
feedstock
for
an
existing
LNG
development.
It
will
be
the
first
bout
of
offshore
drilling
in
Papua
New
Guinea
for
