C&J in deal for Casedhole

C&J Energy Services has bought wireline player Casedhole Solutions from its private equity backers for about $273 million.

Casedhole, which is owned by Intervale Capital, runs a fleet of 58 wireline units across most of the major US onshore plays, including Marcellus, Permian, Granite Wash, Eagle Ford and Bakken.

Invervale bought the company from its founders in 2008.
