The contract was awarded by operator Ormonde Energy, a subsidiary of Sweden's Vattenfall, and is due for completion in the fourth quarter of 2010.
The sub-structures are based on a design from Owec Tower in Norway and will be fabricated at BiFab's yard in Methil.
The company's managing director, John Robertson, said: "This will be the world's first full-scale wind farm project with this jacket sub-structure design," although he added that BiFab built two similar deepwater jacket sub-structures for Talisman Energy and Scottish&Southern Energy for their Beatrice demonstrator project in the UK North Sea.
