Name: Hassan Marican

Born: 18 October 1952, Sungai Petani, Malaysia

Educated: Malay College Kuala Kangsar

Wife: Puan Sri Noraini Mohamed Yusoff

Career: Touche Ross & Company 1972 to 1980, Hanafiah Raslan and Mohamed, 1980 to 1989, Petronas 1989- to date.

Awards include: Panglima Setia Mahkota, with the title Tan Sri, Commandeur de la Legion d’honneur, France and Friendship Medal, Vietnam.

Marican has held board positions on socially minded groups, including the World Economic Forum’s Partnering Against Corruption Initiative.
