Privately-owned New Age is set to drill two appraisal wells next year on its Etinde permit off Cameroon in an effort to establish 3 trillion cubic feet of gas resources, enough to support multiple commercialisation options including a barge-based liquefied natural gas (BLNG) solution.
Kevin Hart, chief executive of Bowleven, a 20% partner in Etinde, said the drilling campaign could begin as early as April next year.
