US LNG specialist Cheniere Energy has joined with start-up Parallax Enterprises to expand its proposed export operations with a pair of midscale terminals along the Gulf Coast totalling up to 10 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
The two projects are the Live Oak LNG project, on the Calcasieu Ship Channel in south-west Louisiana, and Louisiana LNG which lies on the Mississippi River about 40 miles from New Orleans.
