State-owned Petronas is prequalifying contractors for a platform rejuvenation programme on its Baronia field, part of the Baronia Enhanced Oil Recovery project in the Baram Delta area off Malaysia.

Players considering whether to participate in this process include domestic companies Ranhill-Worley, MMC, Dayang Enterprise, RNZ-Petrofac and Carimin.

Prospective local and international contractors and consortia must offer a combination of “both engineering and execution capability in order to undertake this rejuvenation scope,” said sources.
