While a final development decision has yet to be made, multiple sources indicated that if a subsea solution is selected, then the most likely host platform would be Anadarko Petroleum’s Lucius spar, which is due to come online by the end of this year.
It could not be determined if Chevron has issued a tender for a new development concept, but industry sources expect one to be forthcoming.
