In Ghana, Eni secured Cape Three Points Block-4, which partly surrounds its Sankofa and Gye Nyamme oil and gas fields in the Offshore Cape Three Points block.
The partners in the new asset are Vitol, state-owned Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and its GNPC E&P affiliate, plus Woodfields Upstream, a subsidiary of local downstream player Cirrus Oil.
Off Morocco, Eni has taken a 40% operating stake in blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the Rabat Deep Offshore play, held by Chariot Oil & Gas.
