The Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (Adma-Opco) project aims to increase crude recovery rates at the Zakum oilfield, with a completion target of January 2010.

Technip has a 35% share of the work, covering project management and engineering.

The French company carried out the front-end engineering and design work earlier.

NPCC will be responsible for procurement and all fabrication and offshore installation.

Technip said the project "consists of installing gas processing and compression facilities to increase the production capacity of the Zakum field, while maintaining the reservoir pressure".
