Manuel Ferreira de Oliveira, chief executive of Galp the US company's Portuguese minority partner said the deep-water Lucapa project was the biggest being worked on. It is targeted to come on stream in 2014 at between 100,000 bpd and 130,000 bpd.
Market observers suggest a fabrication contract could be placed in the second half of 2010 for a unit with 25,000-tonne topsides and a 30,000-tonne hull.
