SBM Offshore chief executive Didier Keller said the supermajor could consider using his company's Falcon floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which is currently under contract.
Keller's suggestion confirms an Upstream report from September last year identifying the Falcon unit as a potential vessel earmarked for Uge, which lies in OPL 214.
The Falcon FPSO is on standby at Labuan in Malaysia after coming off ExxonMobil's Yoho field in Nigeria two years ago.
