Sete Brasil, the independent holding entity created by Petrobras, has so far signed contracts to supply 28 drilling rigs that are to be used by the state-controlled oil company in the Santos basin pre-salt province.
In addition to the 28 units with Petrobras mandates, Sete Brasil has already ordered two more Brazilian-built rigs on a merchant basis, one with BrasFels and the other with Jurong Shipyard.
