The Omani government expects total output, including oil and condensate, to rise to 900,000 bpd by the end of 2012, deputy Oil Minister Nasser al-Jashmi said.

PDO, led by Shell but majority-owned by the Omani government, accounted for most of Oman’s crude output of 779,000 bpd last year.

Oman has been pushing towards a goal of lifting its oil and condensate output to 1 million bpd.
