Sources said bids are due by 1 October for the 15,000-tonne platform, with contenders thought to include consortia headed by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, Hyundai Heavy Industries and Technip, respectively.
Daewoo is believed to have Aker Solutions on board as a sub-contractor, while Hyundai has linked with Mustang Engineering and Technip with Samsung Heavy Industries, sources said.
