The
National
Energy
Administration
(NEA)
has
entrusted
one
of
China’s
top
CBM
players,
China
United
Coal-bed
Methane
Corporation
(CUCBM),
to
draft
the
new
regulation,
which
sources
said,
is
expected
to
be
finished
in
July
or
August.
Sources
added
that
one
of
the
key
elements
in
the
new
regulation
will
be
terms
that
ensure
foreign
companies
involved
in
China’s
CBM
exploration
and
development
sector
commit
to
their
exploration
investments
as
defined
in
the
production
sharing
contracts.
