Technip set for spar job for deep US Gulf fields

In play: Technip is looking to build the Lucius and Hadrian South truss spar hull at its Pori yard in Finland.

FRENCH engineering contractor Technip is set to begin construction of a truss spar hull in Pori, Finland, to produce oil and gas from the Lucius and Hadrian South fields after Anadarko and ExxonMobil agreed to unitise the lease blocks in the Keathley Canyon area of the deep-water Gulf of Mexico.
