Extension once again for Cluster 7 FPSO tender

India’s Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has extended for a third time the bid submission deadline for its Cluster 7 floating production, storage and offloading vessel tender

At least four contractors are now gearing up to submit final bids by the new deadline of 9 March.

“ONGC wants to accommodate more bidders for Cluster 7. So this extra time is being granted for bid preparation,” said an industry source.

The deadline for bid submissions was originally set for December last year, but this was initially pushed back to 31 January and again to 15 February.

Malaysia’s Bumi Armada is tipped as a potential front runner for the Cluster 7 FPSO job, while another Malaysian player, ­M3nergy, is also expected to bid.…
