Shell and CNOOC sign up for shale gas development deal

Shell has signed an agreement with CNOOC Ltd, the upstream arm of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), to help the latter develop shale gas ­reserves in eastern ­China’s Anhui province.
