quintet
competing
for
a
multi-year
charter
contract
consists
of
Seadrill,
Fred
Olsen
Energy,
Transocean,
Stena
Offshore
and
Odfjell,
said
industry
sources.
Both
Seadrill
and
Fred
Olsen
are
understood
to
be
offering
rigs
already
on
order,
while
the
remaining
trio
are
in
talks
with
Asian
yards
in
Singapore
and
South
Korea
to
secure
slots.
It
is
unclear
which
contractors
have
tied
up
with
which
yards,
although
Odfjell
is
thought
to
be
in
talks
with
Daewoo
Shipbuilding
&
Marine
Engineering.
Seadrill
has
one
semi-submersible,
called

Mira,
on
order
at
Hyundai
Samho
