Group ups Halfaya flow

A CONSORTIUM led by Petro-China is pumping 70,000 barrels per day from Iraq’s southern Halfaya field.

The consortium, which includes France’s Total and Malaysia’s Petronas, plans to raise production from the field to 535,000 bpd later this decade.
