Sinopec powers ahead with coal gas project

SINOPEC, China’s second largest energy company, is moving ahead with plans to build the country’s top coal gasification project in Xinjiang in the north-west and two long-haul gas pipelines to move gas to market in Shandong and Guangdong provinces in the east and south, writes Xu Yihe.
