Next phase of TSB field is under way

The second development phase of Kangean Energy’s Terang Sirasun Batur (TSB) gas field off East Java in Indonesia is under way with front-end engineering and design in the bidding stage.

Phase two comprises the all-subsea development of the Sirasun and Batur fields, which will be tied back to the BW Joko Tole floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which began first-phase production at the Terang field in late May.

Sources said the operator ­recently performed a pre-qualification exercise for the FEED stage, and has selected Singgar Mulia with Fluor, WorleyParsons with IntecSea Engineering, and Wood Group company JP Kenny to bid for the FEED.
