MOL aims for output increase at TAL asset

HUNGARIAN energy company MOL is expecting to boost condensate and gas production in the coming months at its TAL concession in north-east Pakistan.

Current output from the licence is 310 million cubic feet per day of gas and 9400 barrels per day of condensate, according to Pakistan’s Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL). Three new satellites — Makori East-2, Talonj X-1 and Manzalai-9 — are being prepared for production either as extended well tests or through permanent facilities.

Production of 53 bpd of condensate 10 MMcfd of gas is expected from Talonj X-1 in the fourth quarter, plus 950 bpd of condensate and 25 MMcfd of gas from Manzalai-9 in October.
