WorleyParsons
was
awarded
the
pre-FEED
work
several
months
ago.
Its
workscope
covers
conceptual
studies
followed
by
basic
engineering
up
until
the
end
of
this
year,
said
sources.
It
is
widely
tipped
that
M3
will
be
a
standalone
development
with
a
shallow-water
fixed
platform
connected
via
a
subsea
pipeline
to
shore.
The
concept
is
similar
to
the
Zawtika
project,
which
PTTEP
is
developing
for
first
gas
next
year.
Burma
does
not
yet
have
a
developed
services
industry,
so
PTTEP
will
have
to
look
regionally
for
fabrication
and
equipment
services
when
it
is
ready
to
build…
