Salamander high impact plan for acreage in Asia

Asia-focused independent Salamander Energy has plans for an aggressive exploration campaign next year on its Indonesian and Thai acreage.

The high impact 2013 exploration programme will be spread across the Greater Bualuang area off Thailand, and in the North Kutei and Greater Kerendan areas in Indonesia.

The North Kutei drilling programme is scheduled to begin next month.

Nearly 30 leads and prospects have been mapped across the Bontang and SE Sangatta production sharing contracts. First up will be the South Kecapi wildcat.
