COSL eyes pair of jack-ups being built for Standard Drilling

Chinese offshore services provider COSL is eyeing two jack-up rigs under construction at Singapore’s Keppel Fels for Oslo-listed Standard Drilling.

COSL and Standard Drilling are understood to have been in talks on the sale and purchase of the Oslo-listed player’s last remaining pair of KFELS Mod V B Class design jack-up rigs in Singapore.

COSL is keen to add more rigs to its operating fleet following a pick-up in offshore drilling activity within and outside China.
