New Q-Flex for Qatar

Qatar has extended its massive liquefied natural gas carrier fleet with the addition of another Q-flex LNG carrier.

The 210,100-cbm Al 
Khattiyah was handed over 
by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in mid-October to owner Qatar Gas Transport or Nakilat.

The vessel will be used 
to ship cargoes from the 
Qatargas 4 project.
