The probes, carried out by federal law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions around the US, are also attempting to determine whether the company and its former president, Rafael Ramirez, were involved in black-market currency schemes and laundering drug money, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
No charges have been made public in the matter yet and the newspaper stated there was a possibility of no charges being filed.
