The company has been awarded almost 42.47% and operatorship of Cape Three Points Block 4 in the Tano basin.

Eni is joined in the block by Swiss oil trader Vitol on nearly 33.98%, state player Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) on 10%, GNPC Exploration & Production (Explorco) on 4% and Woodfields Upstream Ghana on around 10%.

The block covers 1127 square kilometres and sits in water depths ranging from 100 metres to 1200 metres.
