The design capacity of the two-train PNG LNG facility is 6.9 million tonnes per annum, but Oil Search said today that the plant produced at an annualised rate of 8.1 million tpa in the last three months.
This was 10% higher than in the second quarter 2016 and the highest quarterly rate achieved since the project came on stream in 2014.
