Italy’s Saipem has introduced the Innovator 2.0 heavy work class remotely operated vehicle (ROV), the result of three years of design and testing, the company says.
The new ROV, designed for a 15-year average life expectancy, incorporates several new technical improvements, including redesigned surface equipment, redesigned cable and tether, an optimised tether management system and a new electrical motor that can provide up to 210Hp of power.
