Cooper Energy has expanded its existing sales agreement with fellow Australian company AGL for gas from the under-development Sole field off the coast of Victoria.
The deal will see Cooper supply AGL with 12 petajoules of gas per annum from the field, up from the 6.6 PJ per annum agreed last year.
The expanded deal now means that a total of 20 PJ of the anticipated 25 PJ annual supply from Sole is now subject to binding agreements, with deals also in place with O-I Australia, Alinta Energy and EnergyAustralia.
