Australian company Seven Group Holdings said its Longtom shallow-water gas field off south-east Australia is ready to resume production.
The company said an offshore inspection and testing campaign was successfully completed in January; an electrical fault had been rectified with power and communication confirmed.
As a result, SGH has about 20 petajoules of gas (18.8 Bcf) from the Longtom-3 and Longtom-4 wells ready for production, subject to the availability of gas processing facilities.
