The donation of JewelSuite reservoir modelling software is part of the company’s ongoing support of education initiatives to develop the next generation of innovators and will enhance teaching, learning and research at the university, Baker Hughes says.

The technology simplifies modelling and allows students to build accurate 3D models quickly, regardless of the reservoir’s structural complexity, Baker Hughes says.

The software suite allows users to obtain a clearer picture of the subsurface and to predict how much oil or gas might exist in a given location.
