reported
to
be
interested
in
investing
in
Norway’s
oil
sector,
signalling
a
possible
shift
in
Beijing’s
hardened
position
in
relations
between
the
two
countries.
"If
we
have
the
opportunity,
we
would
be
interested
in
co-operating
with
Statoil
on
the
Norwegian
continental
shelf
and
in
new
areas
of
the
Barents
Sea,"
CNPC
executive
Wang
Dongjin
told
Norwegian
business
daily
DN.
"We
already
have
a
good
and
close
co-operation
with
the
company,"
he
added.
