The
Katy
platform
is

route
to
the
location
of
the
ConocoPhillips-operated
field
off
the
UK
after
sailaway
from
the
SLP
Engineering
yard.
SLP,
which
was
awarded
an
engineering,
procurement
and
construction
contract
for
the
facility
in
May
last
year,
said
the
fabrication
project
was
completed
on
time
and
on
budget.
The
platform,
weighing
in
at
a
total
of
more
than
1100
tonnes,
departed
SLP’s
Lowestoft
yard
this
week
for
installation
off
the
coast
of
East
Anglia
in
a
water
depth
of
27
metres,
where
it
will
be
tied
into
the
Murdoch
complex
via
the
Kelvin
