(NNPC),
including
its
managing
director,
have
been
ousted
by
President
Goodluck
Jonathan
in
a
management
shake-up
amid
claims
of
corruption
at
the
state-run
oil
company.
Jonathan
has
approved
a
re-composition
of
NNPC’s
management
team
“to
further
strengthen
the
ongoing
reforms
and
transformation
of
Nigeria’s
petroleum
sector,
and
in
furtherance
of
efforts
to
achieve
greater
transparency
and
accountability
in
government”,
according
to
a
statement
from
the
president’s
office.
Incumbent
managing
director
Austen
Oniwon,
finance
and
accounts
director
Michael
Arokodare,
refining
director
Philip
Chukwu
and
engineering
director
Billy
Agha
have
all
been
retired,
the
statement
