Sundance invites Santos hand

By Upstream staff

Australia’s Sundance Energy has entered into a farm-in agreement with Santos for work on three blocks in the Cooper basin, South Australia.

According to the agreement, Santos will act as operator in blocks ATP 661P, ATP 820P and ATP 636P and will be responsible for the various farm-in programmes, including all geological and geophysical studies and the drilling of any wells.

Santos will be entitled to a 30% interest in each of Blocks ATP 636P and ATP 820P upon successful completion of the first phase of the farm-in programme, with a further 30% upon completion of the second phase of the programme, Sundance said.

For Block ATP 661P, Santos will earn a 60% interest immediately upon completion of native title negotiations and the transfer of the block title from Liberty Petroleum.
