Scomi builds value in Venezuela
Malaysian service provider Scomi Group said the total value of its contracts in hand in Venezuela had increased to about 79 million ringgit (US$23.2 million), boosted by a recent 19 million ringgit two-year contract extension with state-owned PDVSA.
Scomi has been providing technology services in Venezuela since 1997 and has recorded an average annual growth rate of about 80% in turnover since 2004, the company said.
