Norway’s DNO said today ouput for July had increased to 17,040 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 13,580 boepd in June, thanks in part to extended test production from wells at the Tawke field in Kurdistan.
Kurdistan produced an average of 3196 boepd in July, compared to 781 boepd in June, DNO said.
New wells and successful work-overs in Yemen also contributed to the increase, while the start of production from the Norwegian Enoch field added to the company’s overall production output.
DNO said production for the second quarter of the year averaged 12,841 boepd.
The company’s net entitlement for the period was 9519 boepd,which does not include Kurdistan production.
