QCG ups its reserves estimate

By Upstream staff

Australia’s Queensland Gas Company (QGC) has upgraded its proved and probable gas reserves by 20% to 1120 petajoules.

QGC has also raised it proved, probable and possible reserves by 7% to 2953 petajoules.

Managing director Richard Cottee said in a statement its Windibri gas plant was undergoing a 60% capacity upgrade to accommodate production increases, which would enable QGC to achieve its target sales in the next financial year of around 60 petajoules.
