By Upstream staff

France's Technip has landed a contract worth about $110 million by Murphy Oil for work on the Azurite field development off Congo-Brazzaville.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation and pre-commissioning of two production and one water injection flexible risers, two production jumpers and one umbilical.

Technip will also supply ten well jumpers and provide transportation, installation and pre-commissioning for subsea equipment supplied by Murphy.

Offshore operations will be carried out during the fourth quarter of 2008 using one of Technip’s construction vessels.
